JINJA municipal council has clashed with the district land board over allocation of land in the town to Mohammed Hared, a foreign investor.

The council's physical planner, Tabisa Kakuza, said the council bought 15.4 acres of land from customary owners in Walukuba, Masese division at sh120m.

They wanted to resettle tenants of Walukuba West housing estate who had missed out on the 194 plots, which were sold to sitting tenants in the estate.
