Marauding buffaloes from the Queen Elizabeth National Park have driven residents of Kikarara Parish in Bwambara Sub-county in Rukungiri District, out of their homes, according to area authorities.
Kikarara Parish councillor Chris Kagayano told journalists that the animals, which escaped from the park a few days before Christmas, have destroyed crops and driven people out of their homes.
