Moscow, 1 January: Moscow hopes that during Spain's presidency of the EU it will become possible to make progress in the issue of introducing visa-free travel between Russia and the European Union, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko has said.

"We hope to make substantial progress on the whole range of visa-related issues, including in establishing real prospects for moving to visa-free travel," he told Interfax.
