Thailand: Ch Karnchang sells its Thai Tap Water shares to Hi Steel Products.

Section: Business News - Ch Karnchang has sold 150 million shares in listed subsidiary Thai Tap Water Supply (TTW) for Bt645 million, The Nation reports.

The shares, accounting for 3.76 per cent of TTW's paid-up capital, were sold to Hi Steel Products. The sale price of Bt4.30 apiece was higher than Ch Karnchang had expected, which was Bt4.15 a share.

TTW's stock price on December 30 closed at Bt4.46, up 0.45 per cent on the day.

Earlier, the construction company announced it would sell 180 million shares accounting for 4.51 per cent of TTW's capital. It had expected to raise Bt747 million from the share sale.
