KOLKATA/MIDNAPORE, 30 DEC: The Maoists removed the pandrolclips from a 400 metre stretch of railway track, on both up and down lines near Ghatkhurahalt station, between Jhargramand Gidhniin Kharagpur-Tatanagarsection of South Eastern Railway (SER)last night.

This caused massive disruption in the movement of trains. Fifteen long distance trains had to be detained or diverted. The damage to the railway tracks were detected around 1.15 a.m. last night by two gangmen who were on patrol with mobile pilot engines. Later, they informed the officials at the Gidhnistation.
