Another LRA [Lord's Resistance Army] rebel commander has surrendered in eastern Congo, the Ugandan army has said.

'Captain' Ocen turned himself in to the Congolese army in Paika two days before Christmas, according to Capt Peter Mugisa, the UPDF spokesman for West Nile region.

Ocen was one of the LRA officers under the command of Okello Kalalang who committed horrendous atrocities in northern Uganda and eastern Congo. "Kalalang was one of Kony's most notorious commanders …
