At 1230 gmt, Hojjat ol-Eslam Ahmad Alam-ol-Hoda, the leader's representative and Friday prayer leader of Mashhad, addressed a pro-government rally in Tehran today. The Iranian TV's News Network (IRINN) broadcast live footage of the rally held in the city.

Alam-ol-Hoda praised the "brave" demonstrators for making the enemies of the system "hopeless". The cleric told Koranic stories about two types of movements, i.e. the Godly movements and satanic movements. He then praised Iran's leader Ayatollah Ali Khamene'i as Valiy-e Faqih (Islamic Jurisconsult) and said that all the members of the Assembly of Experts have unanimously chosen Khamene'i as the leader of the country and that …
