Nigerian police arrest thirty suspects over recent violent clashes.

The Police in Osun and Edo states have arrested and arraigned thirty suspects over violence clashes that led to some deaths.

At Osogbo magistrate court, 17 suspects held in connection with a recent bloody clash between policemen and members of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) at an Osun border community, Ora-Igbomina in Ifedayo local council of the state, were arraigned.

The three persons, including the local chairman of the NURTW, Chief Sagemo Idowu, and two policemen, Nuhu Adejoh and Dosumu Akinola, both corporals, died in the violent encounter.
