World Bank to fund city's dump site project.

ILOILO CITY - The World Bank is expected to provide P10 million for the soil cover of the city dump site.

Mayor Jerry P. Trenas said the amount will be added to the initial P10-million funding from WB to develop a biological and technological park at the site in Barangay Calajunan, Mandurriao district.

A validation team from the bank recently visited the site to evaluate the project and assured funding for the soil cover after seeing the need to upgrade the old facility, Mr. Trenas added.
