ASEAN air agreement signing seen in April.

Transport ministers from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) would sign a deal next year to open all cities of member states for air transport.

Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) executive director Porvenir P. Porciuncula said in an interview last week: "Basically, our ASEAN full liberalization of passenger air services to open all cities has been accepted by all countries. And it was agreed that it is targeted for signing next year, most likely in April."

He added the transport ministers themselves would sign the agreement.
