A local vaccine distributor is seeking the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) approval of A(H1N1) vaccines it had secured from a Taiwanese biotechnology firm.
Glovax Philippines, Inc. President Giovanni Alingog told BusinessWorld in an interview last week his firm can ship the two million A(H1N1) vaccine doses from Taiwan-based AdImmune within a month after FDA approval. The vaccines will be distributed to the company's 5,000 partner hospitals, including big ones such as St. Luke's and Makati Medical Center, and clinics nationwide, he added.
