Section: General News - United Nations and the United States have urged Thailand to halt its plan to repatriate more than 4,000 Hmong refugees from Phetchabun and Nong Khai to Laos as Thai military is preparing to have a massive deportation soon, The Nation reports.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHRC), Antonio Guterres, appealed on Thursday to the Thai government, saying the proceeding would endanger the protection and set grave example.
