Vietnam: Army Day celebrated in Laos, Germany.
Section: General News - A meeting to celebrate the 65 th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army Day (Dec. 22) was held in the Lao capital city of Vientiane on Dec. 22 by the Lao Defence Ministry.
Addressing the function, Deputy Defence Minister Lieut. Gen. Sengnouan Saynhalath highlighted the development of the Vietnam People's Army over the past 65 years as well as special solidarity between the armies of Vietnam and Laos.
The country and the people as well as the army always keep in their mind the contributions made by Vietnamese soldiers and experts to Laos'struggle for independence, he said.
