Renovated resort in Palo, Leyte expected to reopen in Q3.

TACLOBAN CITY - The renovated MacArthur Park Beach Resort Hotel in Palo town is expected to open in the third quarter of 2010.

Nelieta C. Baguna, head of the Leyte Tourism and Investment Promotion Center, said LKY Property Holdings, Inc. will open the new villas while completing the renovation of the main hotel building between July and September. The entire resort is expected to be fully developed by the end of 2010.

"The latest plan is to open single detached villas to cater to the needs of visitors who want to experience the comfort of home," Ms. Baguna said.
