BUSINESSMAN MARK JIMENEZ has protested his exclusion from the list of the presidential candidates in the 2010 elections, despite his claimed financial capacity to mount a national campaign.

In a filing with the Commission on Elections on Monday, JimenezMario Crespo in real lifecited the constitutional guarantee that every citizen has the right to vote and be voted on in an election.

As such, the electorate should be given the choice through a free market of candidates, while candidates should be allowed to freely express their views and credentials before the voters, he said.
