[Xinhua: "Mainland, Taiwan Hold Intangible Cultural Heritage Show in Taichung"]

TAICHUNG, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) - An intangible cultural heritage exhibition jointly held by the Chinese mainland and Taiwan began here Saturday as a move to promote cross-Strait cultural exchanges.

The show put on display more than 800 articles from both the mainland and Taiwan. The mainland section, running from Dec. 12 to 20, features more than 230 items of folk literature, traditional music and dance, drama, sports and medicine among others.
