Who's that girl? Street-style blogs are turning chic real girls into fashion's next big stars. Evonne Gambrell reports.

Click! Click! A mob of photographers surrounds a sharply dressed figure outside a runway show. Is it Mary-Kate? Rihanna? Nope, no tabloid headliners here. Just another face in the fashion week crowdthat is, until, her images hit the Web for hordes of style-hungry fans to see. Movie stars and musicians are suddenly sharing the limelight with a chic new gang. "Most celebs have stylists and borrow designer clothes. It's uninspiring that they have so little to do with what they wear," says Los Angeles local Julia Cates, fifteen. "I'd rather see how a regular girl puts together a creative outfit, especially in this recession."

Yet with the popularity of street-style sites, some of these "regular girls" are on the verge of their own celebrity. Familiar faces include Susie Bubble, one of the muses of Street Peeper's Phil Oh, who favors her for her "colorful and quirky" style. It helps that the London resident (real name Susie Lau), who covers fashion week for her site Style Bubble, isn't exactly camera shy. "I don't mind having my picture taken," she says. "It's …
