Saturday: The day never dawned. It was wet and windy. There is no better way to dispel this gloom than the opening night of the pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, at Nottingham Playhouse: a gala night, full house, and magical atmosphere. Oh no it wasn't! Oh yes it was! Sunday: A bright start deteriorates into another wet and windy afternoon, appropriate for the World Aids Day service at St Peter's Church.
This is a sombre occasion, for us to remember the millions of victims of this disease and the 33 million living with it, many also coping with stigma or persecution and no hope of receiving medical treatment. There are over 600 people …
