Somali government expects donors to release pledged funds soon.

Donor countries have pledged 250 Million Dollars to the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia [TFG]. Most of the cash is yet to be released and the TFG has said it would have done a lot about the security situation in the country if it received a large portion of the pledged funds.

Donor agencies have said they have so far released 30% of the pledged funds in which they have given to the TFG and African Union's Mission in Somalia [AMISOM] troops in Somalia although the government believes that it is yet to receive enough funds from the donor agencies for its operations.
