SAMBALPUR, 29 NOV: Some trains have been cancelled, short terminated and diverted for urgent modernisation work like commissioning of doubling between Sambalpur, Sarala and Sason stations in Sambalpur-Jharsuguda section and commissioning of route relay inter locking at Sambalpur.

These are a part of the non-inter locking work at Sambalpur scheduled from 16 December to 24 December, for which the preparatory work has started from yesterday.

Railway sources said that 3 JS/4 JS Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Passenger will be cancelled from 1 December to 28 December. Similarly, the slip coach service between Puri and Rayagada via …
