Rly hawkers launch ambulance services

KOLKATA, 29 NOV: Railway hawkers launched an ambulance service from today, which would be used to shift victims of railway accidents to hospitals. A representative of the hawker union said they had bought this ambulance especially for the passengers who injure themselves in railway accidents. Initially, hawkers had started ambulance services at the Belghoria railway station. Mr Ranjit Sarkar, a representative of hawker union said the service would also be used to the aid of victims of mishaps at other nearby railway stations. SNS
