Section: General News - The Philippine Army Command, led by Army Chief Lt. Gen. Delfin N. Bangit, installed Brig. Gen. William Campos as the new Army chief-of-staff on Thursday.

He succeeded Maj. Gen. Irineo C. Espino, who has assumed his responsibilities as the new 7th Infantry Division commander.

Army spokesman Lt. Col. Arnulfo Marcelo Burgos said the Command is confident that the new Army Chief-of-Staff shall continue Espino's outstanding works, as Campos has already held high positions in the Philippine Army in the past.
