GIRLS BASKETBALL: Youth Foundation Classic showcases nine area teams
Nine area high schools and a perennial state powerhouse, Clearwater, are set to compete in the 12th annual Youth Foundation Ladies Holiday Basketball Classic today and Saturday at Sarasota Christian School.
The two-day showcase, open to the public free of charge, will begin at 2:30 each afternoon and the five-game daily schedule will continue at 11/2 hour intervals through the 8:30 evening finales.
