No compensation for College St traders.

KOLKATA,25 Nov: The KolkataMunicipal Corporation (KMC)would not be compensating the traders of the College Street Market (in photo) for delay in relocating them to the new market complex, mayor Mr BikashRanjanBhattacharyyasaid today.

He was speaking at the monthly meeting (House) of the KMC.Replying to questions raised by Mr AtinGhosh,Municipal Accounts Committee chairman, Mr Bhattacharyyasaid : There is no clause or provision for payment of compensation to traders in case of a delay in relocating them to the new market complex. He further added that the KMChas had no agreement with the traders in this regard.
