Section: General News - The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the law on gender equality in Vietnam was the theme of a seminar held in Hanoi on November 24.

Attending the seminar, jointly held by the National Assembly's Committee for Social Affairs, the Vietnam Women Parliamentarians' Group and the UN office in Vietnam, were Vice NA Chairman Tong Thi Phong, Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan and others.
