Chabane repays credit card debt CAPE TOWN Minister in the Presidency for Evaluation and Monitoring Collins Chabane was stranded without money or his belongings when he asked permission to use a state credit card for personal expenses, the Presidency said yesterday. Chabane has come under sharp criticism for misusing his state credit card. In a reply to a parliamentary question from the Democratic Alliance (DA), Chabane acknowledged using the card for private purposes. The DA asked for an explanation.
