Socio-economic panel to look into development.

BHUBANESWAR, 24 NOV: The government plans to set up a panel of consultants who will prepare the socio-economic report in relation to industrial development in the state, informed revenue and disaster management minister, Mr Surjya Narayan Patro.

We are in talks with the UNDP for the setting up of the panel of consultants. The industries can use the service of the panel to formulate their own resettlement and rehabilitation (R&R) policies, he said while addressing the concluding session of Enterprise Orissa 2009, organised by CII, here today.
