Meanwhile, the Chiang Mai court today denied police's request for arrest warrants for two red-shirt leaders alleged to have threatened to take the prime minister's life.

The deputy chief of Chiang Mai's Muang district police station today sought the court's approval for arrest warrants against local red-shirt leaders Petcharawat Wattanawongsirikul and Surachai Danwattananusorn.

The two are wanted for allegedly using the red-shirt community radio to instigate people to attack Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva …
