Text of commentary by Gholamreza Qalandarian headlined "Pahlavi's paper dream" published by Iranian newspaper Qods on 9 November

In an interview with The Telegraph newspaper, [Son of the last Iranian ruler before Islamic revolution] Reza Pahlavi urged for support to the civil disobedience [launched] by some people on 4 November [anniversary of US embassy capture in Tehran in 1979] and asked the West to back them.

In an interview with the English newspaper, he claimed: Changes should take place through non-violent civil disobedience. We cannot ask for changes at any cost. Whatever happens should be according to people's demand.

With these words [Reza] Pahlavi has tried to prove the fact that changes Iran are imminent and he has tied his hopes to them.
