Philippines: MMDA employees tobe monitored by CCTV.

Section: General News - Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) employees assigned in different pumping stations of the agency must be wary for not doing their duties during working hours because they will be monitored by closed-circuit television (CCTV) to be installed in the these facilities.

According to Engineer Baltazar Melgar, chief of the MMDA Flood Control and Sewerage Management Office, these equipments are needed not only to monitor the works of the personnel but the water level during heavy downpour.

The whole facility, Melgar said should be covered by the cameras so there will be no holes left unplugged.
