3 November: A video tape of TV3 of New Zealand was confiscated during the royal commission's hearing into the Ashika ferry disaster at the Fa'onelua Convention Centre today.

The public hearing was adjourned at around 1150 a.m. midday while legal action was taken against a reporter and cameraman of New Zealand's TV3 who were illegally recording inside Fa'onelua Convention Centre as the public hearing was under way.

Chairman of the royal commission Warwick Andrew confiscated the tape from TV3 after a complaint was made from Attorney-General John Cauchi after the pair secretly recorded the …
