NFL: Barth replaces Andrus; Bryant stays with UFL Tuskers

It was pretty much on a whim that the newest Tampa Bay Buccaneer, kicker Connor Barth, landed on the roster Tuesday.

Tampa Bay general manager Mark Dominik brought in Barth for a tryout in the morning, liked what he saw, opted to sign the second-year man and cut kicker Shane Andrus, who had been with the team for only four games.

"He came in today and had a very good workout for us, so we decided to make the change," Dominik said.

That makes three kickers now, for the 0-7 Buccaneers, who are also going on their third starting quarterback.
