SILK HOLDINGS TO LEVERAGE ON OIL AND GAS.
from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 30 (Bernama) -- SILK Holdings Bhd is now quickly establishing itself in the offshore marine support services industry sector of the oil and gas industry.
This followed the completion of its acquisition of AQL Aman Sdn Bhd, the holding company of 70 per cent-owned Jasa Merin Sdn Bhd, SILK Holdings said in a statement today.
Currently, Jasa Merin Sdn Bhd operates 12 vessels, comprising anchor- handling tug supply vessels (AHTSs) and straight supply vessels (SSVs).
All 12 vessels are on fixed term contract with major oil and gas companies, the group said.
