The boyfriend, Glen Chambers, was arrested and convicted in Weeks' murder.

But Chambers eventually escaped from prison, and for nearly two decades he has been on the run from police.

Now, a popular TV show is reviving the case and could help authorities capture the man.

America's Most Wanted recently featured a segment on Chambers, who savagely beat Weeks to death in their Sarasota apartment in January 1975, according to records.

Chambers escaped from state prison -- stowing away on a furniture truck bound for Daytona Beach -- and hasn't been seen since.
