Tanzania - Tznic encourages local domain registration.

The Tanzania Network Information Centre (Tznic) has launched its first umbrella domain registration facility in a bid to promote domestic internet identification. Many institutions and individuals in the country depend on generic domain names, with only 5,200.tz domains registered at the end of September.
