Several Arab factions in the parliament of Iraq have embarked on a big plan to repeat the 23 July scenario so that they can pass in that way the elections law of the Iraqi Council of Representatives without the approval of the Kurdish members. This problem will unify the stances of the Kurdistani List, the Change List and the Union (Yekgirtu) List. They have decided not to participate in an election which gives special status to Kirkuk and excludes it from the other governorates of Iraq.
