Wana, 29 October: The security forces backed by gunship helicopters and jet fighters have secured important strategic area of Sherongai during ongoing military operation of Rah-e-Nijat [The Path for Deliverance] against militants and foreign terrorists in South Waziristan.

The security forces took the journalists by air to bring them on the latest situation on ground in South Waziristan. They were briefed at Kikarai Koat near secured Sherongai.
