Can it be said that Botswana's participation in the COSAFA Castle Challenge in Zimbabwe has been fruitful? Perhaps yes. There were notable improvements on the performance of the team for the simple reason that they met Swaziland for the first time in the competition and won.

They had drawn 0-0 against the Comoros in the opening match, raising questions about whether they have enough talent to compete at the highest levels.
