Media tycoon Samuel Kamau Macharia will have to pay 30m shillings [over 400,000 dollars] to transport company after letting 500,000 shillings debt accumulation over two decades. Mr Macharia, the owner of Royal Media Services [encompassing eight radio stations and a television station], failed to convince the Court of Appeal last Friday to stop bankruptcy proceedings brought against him by Oceanfreight Transport Company.
