Moroto Elder Donates Land to Police.

A resident of Lorengechora village in Moroto district has donated an estimated seven acres of land to the Police to establish a station in the area.

Matayo Lotyang Apalome, an elder, offered part of his land on Wednesday.

The north-eastern regional Police commander, Okot Obwona, confirmed the donation.

"It is true one elder has given the force land so that they can have access to security in case of emergency," Obwona said.
