President Robert Mugabe says the partial pull-out from government by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai was "guided by little emotional thoughts", but he believes the MDC [Movement for Democratic Change] will "come back into the inclusive government soon".
Mugabe described the split in Zimbabwe's governing coalition as a "non-event," and said his party will not bow to pressure and "give away aspects of our authority".
