The Polish government has shortlisted six separate bidders to acquire controlling stakes in chemical company Ciech (Warsaw), and fertilizer and chemical producers ZA Tarnow (Tarnow, Poland) and ZA Kedzierzyn (Kedzierzyn, Poland). The bidders are private equity firm Bain Capital; a consortium of private equity firm Cinven and consulting firm Kolaja & Partners (Warsaw); chemical company PCC (Duisburg, Germany); chemical firm UAB Achema (Vilnius, Lithuania); National Qatar Industries Co. (Doha); and investment fund Mistral (Warsaw).
