AMERICAN professional Jamal Brown will renew his love with Malaysian basketball when he turns out for Kuala Lumpur Dragons in the inaugural Asean Basketball League (ABL) on Wednesday.

One of two foreign signings by KL Dragons, Brown found the lure of returning to Malaysia hard to resist and jumped at the chance of playing in the ABL when approached by the team.

The 1.98m Brown, 32, is no stranger to local basketball, having inspired Malaysia Petronas to the 2008 Malaysian International Basketball Championship (MIBC) title.

Now Brown is back for more as KL Dragons set their sights on making the ABL playoffs.
