Some Tampa Bay area TV anchors do it. A handful of local lawyers and businessmen do it, too. Most customers, though, are well-heeled women aged 30-plus, who believe they have what it takes to stay young - money.

The stars, near-stars and baby boomers arc all having physician-delivered injections of Botox, or botulinum toxin.

In large amounts, the neurotoxin complex can cause botulism, an often-deadly food poisoning. Injected in tiny doses, Botox paralyzes muscles by blocking nerve impulses.
