from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Jakarta, Oct. 8 (ANTARA) - The Taiwanese government increased its relief aid to 400 thousand US dollars in dealing with the spreading impact of the 7.6 magnitude earthquake in Padang West Sumatra.

Initially, the Taiwanese government has provided 150 thousand dollars, later add 50 thousand dollars, totaling 200 thousand dollars to help the quake victims. In addition, the Taiwan Red Cross also donated 200 thousand dollars, according to the Taiwan government's press release, here, Thursday.
