Weeks after the initial diagnosis of the swine flu virus at Kitabi Seminary in Bushenyi District, the school remains closed to ward off any further contagion.

But the Ministry of Health has, however, declared that the situation in the school is under control.

Dr Ambrose Talisuna, the assistant commissioner for surveillance in the ministry told Daily Monitor: "I can confidently state that there is no danger of the disease in Kitabi Seminary right now."

"Right now, we are concentrating on ensuring that the surrounding communities are out of danger."
