from BERNAMA, The Malaysian National News Agency KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) -- The ringgit is likely to move in a tight range against the US dollar next week as the greenback is expected to strengthen amid speculation that the US may soon stop lowering its interest rate, dealers said.

They said the local currency would continue to depreciate further because of the dollar's strength.

"The recent round of cuts in the US interest rate may be nearing an end because worries about credit crunch and soaring bond yield around the world, especially in the US, have eased," he said.
