Model LTC3553 multifunction power management IC measures 3 x 3 mm and features PowerPath(TM) manager that delivers up to 400 mA battery charge current from USB port or 5 V wall adapter input. Integrated synchronous buck regulator delivers up to 200 mA output current with output voltage adjustable down to 0.8 V. Unit also includes LDO regulator providing up to 150 mA output, pushbutton controller, and battery charger. Pin-selectable standby mode reduces battery drain current to 12 [micro]A.
