Without replacing original clock source, 9DS800 differential buffer adds spread spectrum to systems that use non-spreading clock source. Solution takes in 100 MHz differential clock and adds spread, reducing EMI and improving signal integrity. Furthermore, device makes 8 copies of 100 MHz differential clock with spread added for use throughout system. Users can also turn spread on/off and select amount of spread needed via pin selection or SMBus interface.
