KOLKATA,29 SEPT: Setting up of tiger conservation foundations in the state may get delayed as the state government have raised a query regarding the guidelines proposed by the centre.

Recently, the Union ministry of environment and forest has asked the state forest department to set up tiger conservation foundations for the two tiger reserves according to the guidelines of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).

These foundations would be set up to support and facilitate the management of the Tiger Reserves at Sunderbansand Buxa.According to the draft memorandum of association, the foundations will review the accounts and funds of …
